The StartUp Britain campaign, co-founded by CoSpA Director Oli Barrett, is taking to the road in August and September to encourage budding entrepreneurs in all areas of Britain to start up their own businesses.

The StartUp Britain Bus, carrying enterprise experts, mentors and local ambassadors, will visit 14 locations nationwide to offer practical help and support to people with ideas for new businesses. The bus tour is dedicated to fulfilling Prime Minister David Cameron’s vision of a country where new businesses are starting up on every street and in every town.

Designed to celebrate, inspire and accelerate enterprise in the UK, StartUp Britain was launched in March 2011 and has the full backing of the Prime Minister, the Chancellor and HM Government. The campaign is also supported by founding sponsors AXA, Barclays, Dell, Intel, Intuit, Microsoft, MITIE and PayPal. For more information, go to: www.startupbritain.org
