Cospa introduces UK tech start-ups to India
Monday 18th February 2013
Sixteen of the UK’s most promising digital, wireless and mobile technology companies have taken part in an entrepreneur-led Web Mission to India, co-hosted and facilitated by Cospa.
Mission partners included the Technology Strategy Board, UKTI and The Long Run Venture, with the aim being to open up customer and partnership opportunities for participating delegates in the rapidly developing and dynamic Indian market.
The week-long Mission was split between Bangalore and Delhi and comprised a busy schedule of networking and briefing events and one-on-one meetings with local entrepreneurs and businesses.
In addition to co-developing the Mission concept, Cospa’s role ranged from engaging partners and identifying and attracting delegates, right through to being the Mission host on the ground.
Delegate Bruce Hellman from uMotif encapsulated the Mission’s value and impact: “The Mission was hugely beneficial. It helped us refine our positioning in the health care market and directly resulted in a new contract. It has immediately led to new opportunities and turbo charged our development.”
