Cospa welcomes three new team members

Three new brilliantly able team members have recently joined Cospa as a result of new project start-ups.

Line Algoed has started as Account Manager for the VIY Volunteer It Yourself scheme and has over ten years of experience in combining urban planning, housing and community development. Prior to joining Cospa, Line was in charge of the Self-Help Housing Programme at HACT (Housing Association Charity Trust). Line has also worked in The Netherlands as Director for Development at INTA, the International Urban Development Association, and is a board member of Inspiring Cities, an international network promoting grassroots urbanism. Ben Whitehead has been appointed as Partnerships Manager for the Build-it project, with a focus of developing new cross-sector relationships that help deliver project outcomes such as employment pathways for Build-it participants. Ben’s wealth of creative marketing and partnership experience includes five years with MTV International and four and a half years with communications charity and social enterprise Media Trust, working across a mix of  pro-social campaigns and youth initiatives, both in the UK and internationally. (

Finally, Jessica Attard has joined as Account Executive, having previously completed a six-month placement at Sainsbury’s, including time with the Community Affairs team. Jess is also a qualified dietitian. Jessica’s role with Cospa will include supporting the VIY and Build-it projects, as well as managing the Cospa network and Cospa Club events and communications. (
