On 1st May Cospa hosted the first in a series of exclusive Cospa Club breakfast events for promoting cross-sector partnership-working in key areas of social action.

Cospa Club events give clients, friends and new contacts of Cospa, drawn from across all sectors, the chance to share ideas and experiences, make new connections and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

The focus for the first event, hosted by Café Rouge in central London, was ‘health and well-being’ and speakers included John Hume, Chief Executive of the People’s Health Trust, Matthew Patten, Chief Executive of the Mayor’s Fund for London, and Charlotte Hill, Chief Executive of UK Youth.

Other organisations represented included NHS Choices, Rio Ferdinand Foundation, UnLtd, Kidology, Sport England, Mindapples, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Chiswick Park/Enjoy-Work.

The next Cospa Club event will take place on 19th June on the theme of ‘music and media’ and among the speakers will be Georgia Arnold, Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility for MTV Networks International.
