Cospa has been contracted to help deliver a further two Clean & Cool overseas Missions in 2013, working in partnership with the Technology Strategy Board and The Long Run Venture.

The first will travel to Brazil in October, visiting Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paolo, with the second being hosted in the USA – in Boulder, Colorado - in November.

The week-long Missions will each seek to identify high growth British companies working in cleantech. The Brazil Mission will embrace water, bioenergy, future cities, agriculture and forestry, while the US Mission will focus on smart grid, energy storage, system integration, buildings and transport. Both missions will also cover solar and wind.

Cospa Director Oli Barrett, who will co-host both Missions on the ground, said; “It’s incredibly exciting to be bound for Brazil and we have a lot to live up to, with successful previous Clean & Cool Missions to the USA. Our new Mission to Colorado also coincides with the Industry Growth Forum, and I’m looking forward to helping to showcase some of the brightest British talent in front of a global audience of investors.”
